9 Mile Garden is a family-focused entertainment district and home to Missouri’s First Food Truck Garden™. Bring your friends, kids, dogs, and out-of-town guests to the only place you’ll find a feast of everyone’s favorite local food and drinks alongside outdoor movies, live music and performances, community events and more.

The food truck garden is the focal point of the park's attractions, offering lunch and dinner service seven days a week from some of St. Louis's best and most loved trucks. By creating a daily food truck destination, we are also investing in the economic stability of our local food truck scene, delivering crowds of hungry diners to the doors of the chefs and food makers who continue to drive innovation and opportunity in our local culinary scene.

9 Mile Garden is a collaboration between local chef and restaurateur Brian Hardesty and Seneca Commercial Real Estate. Their shared vision is to create a destination where people from around St. Louis and beyond come together to enjoy food, entertainment, and community in a family-friendly environment. An emphasis on supporting the community means you'll find local businesses such as food trucks, entertainers, brewers, farmers and more. Plus, 9 Mile Garden works with local organizations and charities to offer regular opportunities to give back.

We're fascinated with St. Louis history, and especially our local food history. Back when Soulard Market began growing in popularity, you would see community gatherings cropping up throughout the region where farmers would drive their harvests to an open space and back up their trucks into a formation that allowed people to walk along and choose what items interested them most. These were called "truck gardens", and Affton was known for having a high concentration of them.

Today, St. Louis is home to a strong and thriving food truck scene that marks a new wave of dining across the country. Our culture's fascination with food trucks lends itself to creating a modern-day community gathering place-a food truck garden-where people can peruse the offerings of local chefs and choose what most delights them and their fellow diners. We're proud to have an inaugural food truck lineup that includes more than 40 of St. Louis' best and most beloved trucks. "9 Mile" comes from the days before streets had names or road markers, where landmarks were named for their distance from the courthouse or city center. Our food truck garden is situated approximately nine miles from St. Louis' Old Courthouse.

We invite you to join us for the beginning of a new St. Louis dining tradition at 9 Mile Garden!

Five days a week there will be a different lineup of trucks. Come for your favorites or try something new! With a rotating selection of beer, wine, hand-crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic options, there's something for everyone to enjoy inside our Canteen or around our cozy firepits with friends, family, and even pets!

Wednesday-Sunday you'll find a daily rotation of St. Louis' best and most beloved food trucks open for lunch and dinner services, slinging a wide variety of dishes. Line up for favorites like tacos, fries and ice cream, and your favorite St. Louis craft beers. Everyone in your group can grab what they like most and eat together at our beautifully designed picnic park. The daily lineup is posted on Facebook, Instagram every morning at 9am.

The Canteen is a modern drafthouse offering a wide selection of draft beer from the best of local and national breweries alongside a rotating selection of draft ciders, seltzers, wines and cocktails. The 5,000-square-foot space features large communal tables, a huge selection of free board games to play, live music, and a large patio overlooking the grounds at 9 Mile Garden. Step outside for more fun with a variety of outdoor games such as bags, washers, pickleball, and more. In addition to regular service hours, The Canteen can be reserved for private events up to 200 guests.

The fun begins here! With weekly events like Music Bingo every Sunday, Trivia Thursdays, Live Music 2-3 times a week, and STL SC on the Big Screen, you can always bet on having a good time here in the Garden. Meet your friends and neighbors here, bring the kids and dogs, and enjoy entertainment in a beautiful park-like setting. Tasty dishes from your favorite local trucks make the experience complete.

IS THE PARK DOG-FRIENDLY? You bet! We love our four-legged friends and welcome them to join you for the fun and festivities. On-leash only, please!

WHAT FOOD TRUCKS WILL BE THERE TODAY, AND CAN I SEE THEIR MENUS? The daily schedule of food trucks are posted every morning by 9AM on the 9 Mile Garden Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages. That daily post has a link to each truck's social media page, where you can find their menus. Since a lot of trucks change up their menus and offer specials, we don't have set menus to share with you. Trying new things and discovering new dishes is part of the fun of food truck dining!

WHAT COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING? The garden and its staff follow the health and safety guidelines set forth by the CDC and St. Louis County to provide a socially responsible event space. We have plenty of sanitizing stations on-site, our tables are situated more than 12 feet apart, and we encourage our patrons to wear masks and practice social distancing.

CAN I BRING IN MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK? No outside food or drink are allowed at 9 Mile Garden, including coolers. We have plenty of options at our many food trucks and inside The Canteen.
